Three published accounts describe the Collection Pedestal incompatibly — two guides three days apart, and a database read six weeks later. None has been corrected. Compare them rather than trusting one.

Says it unlocks by: The "A Pearl in the Dust" side-task chain: The Collector → Build Collection Pedestal → Pristine Pedestal → Curios Manifested. No character level named.
Says it contains: 15 collectibles, 3 pedestal designs, and 3 awakening tiers per collectible — 45 placements to finish, each one consuming a copy permanently.
Says it unlocks by: Cazarro's "A Pearl in the Dust" quest line, given in five named steps: Build Collection Pedestal, Pristine Pedestal, Curios Manifested, The Finest Pick, The Collector. No character level named.
Says it contains: 15 collectibles, 3 pedestal designs and 3 levels each — but a per-tier ladder of 1 -> 3 -> 5 copies, so 9 copies to max one pedestal and 135 across all fifteen. Levelling changes appearance only; which collectible a pedestal shows can be swapped at any time from Replace mode, though copies already submitted are gone.
Says it unlocks by: Character level 5, complete "Accumulation of Wealth", bank 10,000 Gyldenblood, trigger Camp Revitalization, then talk to Dew in camp.
Says it contains: Reads the camp-building data as listing the Collection Pedestal with a single level and no stat, crafting, storage or combat effect of any kind.
The pedestal is a display. Nothing on it grants a stat, and placing an item consumes it permanently — the same materials are wanted by camp upgrades that do change how your runs go.
Placement cannot be undone. Confirm only with a copy you are willing to lose.
Our reading, which no source states: these may be two layers rather than a contradiction — a camp structure built once, carrying a separate per-collectible awakening system. The third account is the closest thing to support for it, since it describes exactly that shape, but it is one database and not an official text. Treat it as a hypothesis until something official settles it.

Each account is quoted from its published page with the date that page carried when it was read — the two guides on 12 August 2026, the database on 22 September 2026. This site is not picking between them: no developer post, patch note or in-game text has been published that would settle it, and inventing a resolution is how a contested mechanic becomes a confident error.

Corroborates the 15 collectibles / 3 designs / 3 levels figures independently of Mistfall Hunter Guide, and is the only source giving a per-tier copy ladder (1 -> 3 -> 5), a named five-step unlock chain under Cazarro, and a per-collectible list of which camp upgrades want the same material. Also the only one to state that a pedestal's displayed collectible can be swapped from Replace mode and that levelling changes appearance only.
