Crystal Icebolt
In-game tooltip: summon two Crystal Icebolts to follow you for a period. While active, each time an enemy attacks you one icebolt launches itself at the assailant for Magic Damage. Any icebolts left when the follow duration ends fire forward automatically.

When to use it
The only Elemental skill that pays out while you are being hit rather than while you are casting, which is the school’s actual problem. Rated a hard sell against more proactive utility because it does nothing until someone commits to you.
Builds using this
- Elemental Sorcerer — chant, zone, disengage — Master Deemo explains it at 13:00Control rather than damage. Its job is to make the next chant possible, not to finish anyone, which is why it stays slotted even when the damage numbers argue against it.
What the balance passes changed
- 2026-08-12 · CutCooldown increased.
Direction is the patch note’s own word, not a verdict on whether the skill is now good. Patch notes and update history.
