Wound Buildup
In-game tooltip: hitting enemies with Dual Blades attacks applies a stackable Wound that lasts for a short duration. At 10 stacks it detonates and deals True Damage to the target. Note the wording — the stacks expire, so the threshold has to be reached inside that window.

When to use it
The dual-blade damage ceiling. Both launch-week guides state the ten-stack threshold; they disagree on whether it is reliable, with one calling ten hits in a row hard to land in PvP and the other calling it easy with fast blades.
Builds using this
- Shadowstrix — dual blades, wound explosion — Master Deemo explains it at 10:18His pick over Battle Frenzy this patch, for true damage that ignores the defence a purple or gold opponent is carrying, plus energy restore. He says Battle Frenzy remains viable if you want faster uptime.
What the balance passes changed
- 2026-09-03 · BuffedA minor Energy recovery is added when the talent reaches max stacks.
- 2026-08-28 · ChangedFixed: the talent failed to tell damage sources apart, so stacks accumulated abnormally.
Direction is the patch note’s own word, not a verdict on whether the talent is now good. Patch notes and update history.
